Metal World Storyboard
After the script and design work was done, I started to storyboard the film. I first made a draft storyboard with quick thumbnail sketches.
After reviewing the draft storyboard, I began to breakdown each sequence in detail for the final story board. Below is the final storyboard of this scene with photo stills from the film for comparison. Some changes were made due to technical problems, time constraints, or ideas that came up at the time of shooting. The storyboard panels were scanned into a computer to compile an animatic of the film. I could then adjust the timing of each shot to get the right pacing before animating the sequence.
