Sadly Ray passed away in hospital on the 9th of January, after a short illness.  It has been decided by his friends that this site will be maintained as part of his journalistic legacy.  New material from his files will be added periodically in accordance with his wishes.  Email to the address on the contact page will be redirected to the site administrator and answered as soon as possible.

For many years I wrote for THE STAGE (London), VARIETY (New York), SCREEN INTERNATIONAL (London), AUSTRALIAN THEATREGOER (Aust.), MASQUE (Aust.), THEATRE AUSTRALIA (Aust.) plus other periodicals throughout the world.  This necessitated me interviewing many well known people, attending press conferences, first nights and visiting film sets.  Here are some pieces based on those experiences, plus other writings.
